Judah and Ezra gave presentations at their school last week. They had to choose a person from history, and give a biography of their life. Judah chose Matthew Henson, and Ezra chose Frederick Douglass. Here is a video of their presentations:

First Day of School
Ezra and Judah started school on Tuesday! Ezra is starting 1st grade, and Judah is starting 6th grade, both at Versailles Montessori School.

Pop Pop Visit
We just returned from a great week of visiting friends and family out east. One of the highlights was visiting my grandfather (Pop Pop). It was our first time seeing him since before the pandemic, and it was his first chance to meet Luca.

Mother's Day
On Mother's Day we went for a family hike at beautiful Camp Nelson, a camp used by the Union army in the Civil War. I'm posting this picture because it's rare to get a picture of all 6 of us!

Ice Cream

Bernheim Arboretum
A couple weeks ago, we drove to the Louisville area and visited Bernheim Arboretum, a beautiful nature preserve. The biggest draw were "forest giants" created by a Danish artist out of recycled woods. All six of us enjoyed the visit!
