Thanksgiving 2020

 We had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving.  We missed visiting with family this year, but we had a wonderful meal, and a special time sharing what we were thankful for.  Enjoy pictures of our day:

Thanksgiving Tradition

 We have an yearly tradition to make candy turkeys for Thanksgiving.  We unfortunately won't be visiting with family this year, so instead of sharing the actual turkeys, we'll have to just share pictures of the turkeys...

Judah Soccer Goal

 Judah just completed his soccer season, and he had a fantastic season.  He was awarded his team's MVP by his coach, and his team made it to the championship.  Here is a video of one of his goals he scored this season:

October Biographies

 Each October, Eliana and Judah's school presents "October Biographies" where they dress as a deceased person from history, and give a presentation about that person's life.  Here are their 2020 presentations.  Eliana was Mary Blair, and Judah was Jim Thorpe.

One Month

 On October 30, Luca turned 1 month old.  Here are his 1-month pictures!

Halloween

 Halloween 2020 was different than most.  We trick-or-treated at only a few houses of people we know, and then added a candy scavenger hunt so the kids wouldn't be short candy.  They still had fun dressing up, though, as Elvis (Eliana), a baseball player (Judah), a dragon (Ezra), and a pumpkin (Luca).  The night still ended with our traditional watching of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" while sorting candy and drinking hot cocoa.

Pumpkin Patch

We've gone to Devine's Pumpkin Patch every year since we moved to Kentucky.  We picked a beautiful Wednesday afternoon when there would be no crowds to go this year, and had a wonderful time.  The kids played, and we took a hayride to the patch to pick out pumpkins.

 Sorry for the lack of posts lately! It’s been busy around here, but we’ll try to be more active here on the blog. 

Luca Ezekiel Jones arrived on September 30 at 8:46pm. He weighed 6 lbs 11 oz at birth, the lightest of our four.  Here are pictures from his first 24 hours, and we'll be posting more picture over the next few days!

5 Year Old

 Our Ezra is now a 5 year old!  He is our most imaginative child, always coming up with new stories and new imaginary worlds.  He is sweet, funny, and inquisitive, and we love him!
