Piano Recital

Eliana and Judah performed in their school's winter piano recital on Friday night.  Here is the video of their performance!

Soccer

This is a late post, but I wanted to post a few pictures of the kids' soccer season.  Both Eliana and Judah played this fall, and both had a great season! Judah's team made it to the championship for his age group.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving, visiting Elizabeth's extended family up in Indiana.  Here are some picture of our gathering:

Eliana's Baptism

We were so excited that Eliana got baptized this morning!  Here is a video of her baptism, and a family picture after the service.

Halloween

Eliana and Judah had their yearly "October Biography" presentation on Halloween.  Judah dressed up as Thomas Edison, and Eliana dressed up as Junko Tabei (the first woman to climb Mount Everest).  

Then in the evening, they switched to their Halloween costumes.  Judah was Peter Pan, Eliana was Captain Hook, and Ezra was Hook's nemesis, the crocodile.  They had a great time trick-or-treating in the cold streets of downtown Wilmore, and enjoyed their haul of candy.

Pumpkin Patch

We took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday, and the kids had a blast.  They each picked out a pumpkin, enjoyed games and inflatables, and conquered the corn maze.

Grammy and Boppa Visit

We had a short, but wonderful, visit with Grammy and Boppa last Saturday.  We got some great pictures:

Surprise Visitor

Last weekend, Uncle Christian's flight home from a business trip was cancelled due to flooding in Houston, and he made a last-minute detour to Kentucky.  It was a fun surprise weekend, as the kids got to have Uncle Christian watch their soccer games and attend our church's fall festival with us.

Smores

We had great weather earlier this week for our fire pit, so we roasted marshmallows and made smores!

Birthdays

We celebrated several birthdays recently!  Here are a few pictures from Elizabeth's birthday celebration at a sushi restaurant, and a few from Judah's birthday party with his buddies at Malibu Jack's.

New Bikes

Papaw was here last weekend, and bought each of the kids a new bike for their birthday.  They've all enjoyed zooming around the cul-de-sac in their new bikes!

Ezra's Birthday

Saturday was Ezra's 4th birthday, so we took the day to celebrate!  He wanted to go to the University of Kentucky Children's Garden, so we started there, and then went to Chick-fil-a for lunch.  We then took him to Build-a-Bear at the mall to build a birthday bear.  Of course we also enjoyed cake in the evening.  Ezra had a great day!  We love our 4-year old!

First Day of School

Today is Eliana & Judah's first day of school!

Eliana is starting 4th grade, and Judah is starting 3rd.  Their school splits into classrooms of 1st to 3rd, and 4th to 6th, so Eliana is starting her first year in upper elementary, and Judah is starting his last year in lower elementary.
