First Day of Preschool

Ezra has his first day of preschool today!  He had an orientation last week, and is most excited to have snack and play on the playground.  Here is his "Back to School" picture:

First Baseball Game

A couple weeks back, we took the kids to their first big-league baseball game.  We saw the Phillies play the Reds in Cincinnati.  Unfortunately, our team lost, but it was still a fun experience!

Happy Birthday Ezra!

It's Ezra's 3rd birthday!  Our birthday boy is a delightful guy, and we're blessed to have him in our family.  He has progressed far over the past year through speech therapy sessions, and is now talking all the time.  He will be starting preschool later this year, at the same school Eliana and Judah went to for preschool.  He loves Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, playing outside, and copying anything his big brother & sister do.

Monkey's Adventures

The only negative moment of our Florida vacation was when Eliana realized she had left her monkey (her favorite stuffed animal that she's slept with since she was a baby) on the airplane.  We quickly got in touch with the airline (Allegiant Airline) and their amazing staff went over and above to find monkey and keep him safe until we picked him up before our return flight.  They even sent us these pictures of monkey's adventures "exploring" the St Pete/Clearwater airport!

First Day of School

Yesterday was the first day of school for Eliana and Judah.  Both kids had a great first day.  They will be in the same class with the same teacher as last year, so not too much has changed from last year.  Eliana is starting 3rd grade, and Judah is starting 2nd grade.

Florida Vacation

Last week we had a wonderful family vacation in Florida.  Jeff's mom, brothers, and their families all joined us, and we had a great time.  We stayed near Manasota Beach, on the gulf side.

We experienced many firsts on this trip:

1. First time flying as a family (and Judah's first ever flight)

2. The kids' first time to the beach (although Eliana did go as a baby)

3. First time to Disney World - we did a day trip to the Magic Kingdom, which we kept as a surprise until the morning of the trip.

Elizabeth's earliest Disney memory was riding Dumbo with her Mom as a 2-year old.
So Elizabeth was excited to be able to ride Dumbo with Ezra.

While in Florida, we visited Elizabeth's Great Uncle Manuel in his apartment.
