Vacation Part 1

We enjoyed our week-long vacation last week.  We spent half the week with Elizabeth's family in Eastern Tennessee, and half the week with Jeff's family in central Virginia.  Here are pictures from the first half:

Aviation Museum

Last week, Eliana had her week at Mamaw and Papaw's.  So one day, Daddy took Ezra and Judah to the Aviation Museum of Kentucky (Ellie went with her Kindergarten class - click here for that post).  The kids loved seeing all the airplanes and Judah especially loved getting to sit in a couple.

July 4th

Our town's July 4th parade was cancelled due to rain.  We were disappointed, but we made the best of the day and had fun painting faces and dressing in red white and blue.  The kids got to stay up late to watch fireworks from our back deck.

 

Ezra - 11 Months

Ezra turned 11 months yesterday!  

Ezra's biggest milestone this month was clapping - he clapped for the first time with his Papaw on June 23.  He is also shaking his head yes & no.

He is still crawling everywhere, and "cruising" along furniture.  No signs of walking yet, but I"m sure it's not far off.  As we said in his 10 month post, he loves to eat and enjoys most everything he tries.

 

Indiana

We spent last weekend in Indiana.  We spent most of our time with Elizabeth's grandparents (Great Grammy and Great Boppa to the kids), but also stopped at good family friends the Hootens on the way home.

Zoo

On Wednesday, we went to the Louisville Zoo.  It was Ezra's first time to the zoo, and our first time going as a family since we moved to Kentucky.  We had a gorgeous day and a really fun time.
