Las Vegas

Elizabeth gave several presentations at the National Communication Association's annual conference, which was in Las Vegas this year.  Daddy and Ezra tagged along, so that Ezra didn't have to spend 5 days separated from Mommy.  Here are a few pictures from exploring the weird city that is Las Vegas:

Photo Shoot

We took one last trip to the apple/pumpkin orchard with our small group.  Turns out, going in November is ideal - we had the place to ourselves and admission is free!

Ezra - 3 Months

Ezra turned 3 months yesterday!  He is growing and changing fast.  It's been fun in the last month to see his personality come out more.  He is a very "chill" and happy baby.  We're excited to celebrate his first Thanksgiving and Christmas with him over the next few weeks!

This happened about a month ago, but just realized I never posted the pictures.  Eliana's kindergarten class took a field trip to the local fire department.  It was a cool experience for her.  Here are some pictures the teachers took:

Halloween

For Halloween this year, Eliana chose to be a scarecrow.  She made her decision last November and didn't waver all year.  Judah was more of a last minute decision, but he decided to be a firefighter.  Ezra didn't get a choice, so he got the same costume we put on Judah at the same age (a chicken).

We attended the kids' school Halloween party on Friday night and then went trick-or-treating in downtown Wilmore on Saturday night.  Wilmore closes Main St to traffic and the kids can get candy from all the local businesses.  The fire department puts their trucks on the end of the street to block it off, so they invited Fire Chief Judah to sit in the truck because of his choice of costume.  We all had a fun weekend!
