Water Park
On Sunday we took the kids to the local outdoor pool and water park. There was a splash park for younger kids (pictured below), as well as water slides and fountains. They had a blast!

No Training Wheels
Eliana reached a milestone last week - she rode her bike for the first time without training wheels! Unsurprisingly, our brave girl did fantastic. Here is a video of her after just a few minutes of figuring out her balance:

County Fair
We went to the county fair last week. Not quite like the size of the Ohio State Fair we've been to the last few years, but the kids still enjoyed it.

Family Visitors
Last week, we had family from Massachusetts stop and visit for the night on their way from Michigan to Atlanta. Jeff's Uncle Tim, Aunt Nicole, and cousins Molly and Annie were here, and it was fun to catch up with them!

Fourth with the Rooneys
We spent the weekend with our good friends from Columbus, the Rooney family. We enjoyed several local 4th of July celebrations, including a parade, a festival and fireworks.

Swimming Lessons
Last week, the kids had swimming lessons. Both made huge strides. For example, Judah was scared to go in the water on the first day. By the end, as you can see from the picture below, he was swimming without support from his teacher (using a noodle). They loved their lessons, and are looking forward to taking more in the fall!

Morning Time
Since the beginning of summer, the kids have had a daily "morning time" routine, where they work on workbooks and one of us reads a chapter book read to them. They've really enjoyed continuing to work on concepts they learned at preschool. It's fun to see them get excited about learning!
