Spring Break Adventures

Last week was Elizabeth's Spring Break, and I was able to take a couple days off from work so we could have a couple of day trips.  The first was to the University of Kentucky Arboretum, which has a children's garden.  It was a little chilly, so we were the only ones there, which made exploring all the more fun.  The next day was a little warmer, and we went to Raven Run Nature Sanctuary, which had some great trails for our preschool-aged kids.  We enjoyed having a chance to get some relaxation and outdoor exploration!

A special happy 60th wedding anniversary to Eliana & Judah's great grandparents, Great Grammy & Great Boppa!  Thank you for setting an amazing example of consistently loving one another during life's ups and downs.  Have a great anniversary!

Ultrasound

It's a boy!!  We had our ultrasound yesterday, and we found out Eliana and Judah are getting a baby brother.  Most importantly, our baby boy is healthy, from everything the doctor could see and measure.  We're about 20 weeks from meeting our guy!

Disney on Ice

I took the kids to "Disney on Ice" this past weekend in Lexington.  They had a blast, seeing some of their favorite Disney characters from movies such as "The Lion King" and "The Little Mermaid."
