Happy Halloween

We are planning to go trick-or-treating tonight, but the kids got in some early Halloween fun last night at their preschool Halloween party.  They wore their costumes - Judah chose to be a pumpkin, and Eliana chose to be the tooth fairy (side note: she lost her 2nd tooth this week!)

Papaw came to visit, and came to the party as well.  Elizabeth and I dressed up along with the kids, as Rosie the Riveter and a baseball player.

Clark's Baptism

We took a day trip to Columbus this past Sunday to see the infant baptism of Clark Rooney, son of our good friends Margaret & Justin.  It was a long day, but totally worth it to see our friends and to witness the baptism.

Field Trip

Eliana and Judah went with their preschool on a field trip to the University of Kentucky Arboretum on Friday.  Elizabeth went went them, and the three of them had a great time!

First Tooth

Yesterday morning, Eliana lost her first tooth!  She noticed it was loose about a week ago, and at first, thinking she was too young, we didn't believe her.  But sure enough, it was quite loose, and after several days of wiggling it came out during breakfast yesterday.

She has been quite excited to get a visit from the tooth fairy.  In fact, the experience has led her to the decision to dress up as the tooth fairy for Halloween this year.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a local pumpkin patch on Saturday with friends of ours.  Unsurprisingly, the kids had a great time!

Our Ballerina

Eliana has been in ballet class since late August, and unsurprisingly, she has loved it!  Her class is preparing for a Christmas performance which will be held December 5-6 (so come watch the performance and celebrate her birthday in one trip!)

In late September, her class held a parents' observation class, so we got some pictures and video of our ballerina.  Mamaw and Papaw were there that weekend, so they were able to watch as well.

A very Happy Birthday to Mamaw Thompson!  We got to celebrate her birthday last weekend when she was in town.
