Welcome to our new nephew, Theodore ("Theo") Eliason Jones!

Theo arrived on Thanksgiving Day, November 28.  Eliana and Judah are excited about their new cousin, and we're all excited to head to Virginia in a few weeks to meet him.

Elizabeth went to Washington, DC last week for the National Communication Association annual conference.  She presented two papers there, and did networking related to her job search.  Jeff came along for the ride, to do some relaxing and sightseeing.

A Week with Aunt Michelle

Last week, Elizabeth and I (Jeff) went to Washington, DC for the National Communication Conference.  We'll post pictures from our trip later this week.  But for now, let's focus on the kids' adventure!  They spent the week with Aunt Michelle, Uncle John and cousins Kaitlyn & Jordan.  They had a blast - they did lots of fun activities and really enjoyed playing with the dogs!  Many thanks to Aunt Michelle & the gang for taking such good care of our kids!

November Snow

On Tuesday morning, we woke up to an inch of snow, and as soon as Eliana saw it she yelled "it's winter!!!!"  Well, not quite, but she was still excited to get a chance to play in the snow, so we went right outside before it melted away.

Apple Picking

A couple weeks ago, the kids had a preschool off-day, so I (Jeff) took a half day to take the kids to an apple orchard.  They had a blast picking apples, sometimes to put into the bag, but more often to eat them!
