Eliana's North Carolina Trip

Eliana spent last week in North Carolina visiting with Mamaw and Papaw.

It was a fun week for all three.  The week included lots of trips to the playground, a trip on the Blue Ridge parkway, and lots of delicious food!

Mommy/Son Date

Eliana has been in North Carolina this week with Mamaw & Papaw, so Judah has had a unique opportunity being the only kid in the house for a few days.  Judah even had a special Mommy/Son date at the Park of Roses:

Boo at the Zoo

Last weekend we went to "Boo at the Zoo" - where kids can dress up and trick-or-treat at the zoo.  So the kids got to try out their Halloween costumes a week early.  Eliana chose her costume for the first time - a bunny rabbit!  And Judah had his costume chosen by Mom & Dad based on what was on sale at Babies R Us - a gorilla!

Fall Fest

Yesterday, a fall festival was held at the park across the street.  The kids had a lot of fun, especially on the hayride.  Enjoy some pictures:

want to do it with the actual rope, but maybe next year!

Fall Pictures

We've developed a tradition of taking pictures of our kids on the front porch with the annual Jones family pumpkin.  Here are a few pictures from this year, as well as the last two years.  Taking the picture wasn't easy this year with kids who don't like staying still, but it beats last year when we had a colicky 1-month old.

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday, we headed out to a local farm to get our family pumpkin.  This year, Eliana requested to get her own pumpkin, and had a specific vision in mind for her pumpkin.  After a careful 10 minute search through the patch, her eyes lit up when she finally found her perfect pumpkin.
